ABOUT CLADDING

Brick cladding is an easy-to-install option for both interior and exterior walls. These bricks are a great way to give your walls an additional flair because they have colours that don't fade over time and require minimal care. It is frequently used for renovation, conservation, and interior and exterior furnishing of walls. They are cost-effective, robust and grant strength to the structure.

Extruded Wire Cut Bricks

One of the most popular ways of making bricks is extruding Wire cutting which has become very popular over the last few decades. In this process, relatively low-moisture clay is pushed or extruded through a die to form a column. These are completely exposed, extruded and solid by nature. No plastering is required in such bricks.

Hand Mould

In this process, the ground is levelled and some fine sand is sprinkled on it and inside the mould of the brick. Now the well-prepared clay is either shaped hands to the size of the brick or is pressed in the mould. And the mould fills the corners. The surplus clay is removed. It is to be dipped in water every time.
table-mould

Table Mould

As the name suggests, table mould is a method where the moulder carries out the moulding of bricks on a table. He/she does so while standing by the side of the table.

Why use Brick Cladding

Brick wall cladding is a wonderful alternative for exterior building walls for a variety of reasons that go beyond aesthetics. Brick cladding provides a layer of thermal insulation from the intense heat outside due to its relative thickness, keeping the interiors cool and reducing cooling expenses. The method adds an additional layer of material to the construction, giving it mass and strength.

This is particularly helpful for older buildings that require more protection and strength to ensure the primary structure lasts longer. As a result, brick cladding offers an additional layer of defence against damaging weather elements like heat, rain, mould, and other pollutants. Additionally, it helps keep the core structure from deteriorating and cracking.

Application

Brick cladding always exudes a timeless and rustic charm. It recreates the appearance of traditional earthy architecture, which was once common throughout many parts of the world. Nowadays, hand-made bricks are also available in the market that can be used for a more natural look.

Bricks used for cladding come in a variety of shapes that can be used in corners and various places of the site to create a unique look. They can help enhance the look of the readymade structures. Buildings with brick cladding provide improved noise and heat insulation, which is especially useful for homes in busy urban areas.
